Quality of Care in Nursing Homes

On November, 2006, FRIA held a conference inviting the Department of Health to meet nearly 100 family and friends of nursing home residents. The DOH presented guidance on submitting complaints. The DOH answered questions and responded to comments from family and friends about the deteriorating quality of care that many residents are experiencing in the state’s nursing homes.
