By donating and/or becoming a FRIA member you are supporting FRIA's mission to ensure high quality, compassionate care for all seniors in long term care settings.  For over 30 years FRIA has been the leading independent provider of information on all aspects of long term health care in New York State.

With your Membership you will have access to FRIA publications online, archived newsletters, listings of all nursing homes, adult homes and assisted living facilities in the five boroughs, Nassau, Suffolk and Westchester counties.

Your generous contribution will sustain:

FRIA's: FREE TELEPHONE HELPLINE -  FRIA's counselors have expertise in all long term care issues and spend an average of 32 minutes per call assisting individuals to become better advocates for their loved ones and selecting the most independent setting for placement.

FAMILY COUNCIL PROJECT -  Organizes and provides technical assistance to friends and family members of nursing home residents working together to improve care for their loved ones. 

COMMUNITY EDUCATION AND OUTREACH -  Trained staff provide educational presentations to community groups, advocacy organizations, at health fairs and at the workplace on a variety of long term care topics.
