Families To Lead Way in Promoting Best  Practices
FRIA is proud to announce the creation of the Best Practices Project and welcomes its newest staff person to head the project, Cris Parque.  The project will identify proven ideas and approaches that improve nursing home care and quality of life.  It will educate families about them and will empower families to work to see "best practices" adopted.

With the Best Practices Project, the driving force behind improving nursing homes will be families and friends of residents.  In the coming months, FRIA staff will be reaching out to families and friends of nursing home residents who want to make their home a site for Best Practices.
