FRIA Remembers 
Nelly Peissachowitz
valued friend, long time supporter and former board member.  A devoted, compassionate caregiver, Nelly organized a family council at her sister’s nursing home and worked with FRIA on systemic problems affecting all of its residents.  She worked passionately for improved nursing home care as a leader on FRIA.s board of directors from 1983-1993.  FRIA lost this  outstanding friend and supporter last January. We remember her while we continue to work towards the vision we shared.
