assistance to all New Yorkers seeking high quality compassionate long-term care.  In order to continue for another thirty we rely on your support.

 

 

FRIA's Mission is to improve the quality of long-term care in New York, with a special focus on nursing home residents, and assure that all seniors receive prompt, high quality and compassionate care. We seek to accomplish this by helping friends and relatives become more informed and effective caregivers for the needs of their loved ones.

FRIA's Services: Free Telephone Helpline , advocacy on individual complaints and policy issues, organizing and assisting family councils within nursing homes, consumer educational publications, presentations/ workshops for family members, community groups and professionals. FRIA’s voice is respected and solicited by legislators, policy makers, and caregivers.

FRIA's Free Telephone Helpline: Answers questions regarding long-term care options, Medicare / Medicaid, problems with care, nursing home selection.
